Charlotte’s Voisey’s lengthy career working in spirits has hit all the high notes and brought her legions of admirers from industry professionals to fans who have watched her appearances on television’s Iron Chef America and the You Tube series The Proper Pour.
She has had a major impact helping redefine how spirits brands connect with the hospitality industry. For nearly two decades she led the global Brand Ambassador program for William Grant & Sons, managing a team of 100 professionals across 40 countries. In 2019, she further cemented her legacy as an educator by becoming an Associate Partner of the esteemed B.A.R. 5-Day Program.
During much of this time Voisey has been deeply involved with Tales of the Cocktail, the annual global gathering of spirits industry professionals held in New Orleans. During her tenure with William Grant & Sons, she orchestrated some of the best brand portfolio welcome parties we have attended and not just for the drinks and swag, Picture trapeze artists, contortionists, go-go dancers, masquerades, live camels and milking a cow. Then there was the time Voisey played the tuba for the crowd. Yes, that is also one of her many talents.

Since 2016 Voisey has chaired Tales of the Cocktail’s Spirited Awards, an honor she also received in 2010 as Best American Brand Ambassador. In an exciting new direction for her career, in January 2025 Voisey was appointed Executive Director of the non-profit Tales of the Cocktail Foundation. Voisey now leads the organization’s mission to educate, advance and support the global hospitality industry through many initiatives.
The 23rd edition of Tales of the Cocktail (TOTC) will take place July 20-25 in New Orleans. This year’s theme, Evolve, explores the cocktail industry’s ongoing evolution, innovation and growth. The Ritz-Carlton Hotel serves as TOTC “headquarters,” and there will be numerous events held throughout the City of New Orleans. The 19th annual Spirited Awards will be held July 19 at the Fillmore New Orleans. Once again, Charlotte Voisey will once again be front and center and behind the scenes, now in her new role as Executive Director role for the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation.
